Fun Food Doctors is a unique event catering, supplies, planning and production company. We stock all of our equipment in-house and have our own specialist staff to take care of every aspect of your event from catering, bar, technical to hosting. As we have vast in-house resources at our disposal we can produce the most amazing events at competitive rates.
We are proud to say that most of our business comes from word of mouth or repeat business due to our high quality and competitive service.
Fun Food Doctors is part of the Party Doctors family and is managed and run by the owners of the business and we understand fully the power of reputation and nowhere is this more evident than in the party and event sector. Our success only comes from your success. We have years of experience of designing and producing events of all shapes, sizes and themes. What’s more, we own all of our own equipment (from marquees to chocolate fountains) so we can provide you with the very best service at a competitive price, giving you real value for money safe in the knowledge that you aren’t paying a huge mark up on hired-in equipment.
Our company is comprised of 10 full-time members of staff, 2 part-time and 20 freelance events staff handpicked by management. This does not include entertainers. All have a passion for events and are enthusiastic about working for Party Doctors or Fun Food Doctors. Our freelance staff also mainly work only for our company or work for us above anybody else.
History
Party Doctors, first established in 2005 was merged from two companies two years older that specialised in event lighting, visual, sound design and event indoor & outdoor catering. Co-founders Daniel Kenney & Edward Gray noticed a niche in the events market for a one-stop shop for all of your event needs. There were plenty of middlemen such as party planners and caterers, however, there wasn’t an all in one supplier.
Since 2005 we have continued to stock and develop new equipment for the events market. We always aim to provide the highest quality equipment as the lowest market cost. Most of our bespoke equipment is unique and designed in-house. It is that good that some companies try to copy our ideas (not that they succeed). To accompany our equipment we only stock the best kit available on the market from high-quality laser shows to quality linen.
During this time we also moved into a purpose-built warehouse and expanded all areas of the business from there. We have also gained a fantastic workforce which is forever growing year after year.
Edward Gray left the company in 2010 to pursue his family business (the UK’s most reputable fresh produce grower and trade wholesaler) leaving Daniel Kenney to continue on with his never-ending passion for the events industry to be the best events company in the UK (if not galaxy).
Since 2005 Party Doctors has completed over successful 4000 hires and events. We are committed to producing many more memorable successful events.
In 2014 Party Doctors were successful in obtaining a fund from Kent County Council allowing us to buy and refit our state of the art freehold premises as well as purchase many more bespoke products. It also allowed us to expand our team and size of operations. Finally, we have now minimised a number of suppliers giving us huge control over our bookings & events.
Why the name Party Doctors?
The company was given its name as when it was first started Edward Gray was at Imperial College of London studying medicine. Most of our events staff at the time were also trainee doctors. The company name was an obvious choice!
